Bhagavad Geeta 6.6

Published:

English Translation: For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy.

Commentary: This verse emphasizes the dual nature of the mind. A disciplined mind becomes a supportive ally, guiding one towards self-realization and peace. Conversely, an uncontrolled mind can lead to self-destruction, acting as one’s own worst enemy.

The Bhagavad Gita teaches that true mastery and inner peace come from self-discipline and control over the mind.
